Keryluk re From the City Clerk, December 18th, 1974, advising that the following dyking & drainage 7 program, etc. two resolutions were prepused at the regular Council meeting held on December 16th, 1974: 1. "That the sum of $60,000.00 be allocated in the Provisional Budget in anticipation of expenditures in 1975 concerning the City's participation in the dyking and drainage program." WITHDRAWN. 2. "That the topic of dyking and drainage in Port Coquitlam be placed on the January 13th, 1975 Council meeting agenda for consideration in order that members of Council will have had an Opportunity to study all the information available tnereon in the interim." CARRIED. and submitting a report from Alderman J.J. Kerylnk, October 16th, 1974, concerning the Bonham Internal Drainage Report for the City of Port Coquitlam. Alderman Keryluk, in speaking to the above-mentioned report, mentioned that it had been submitted to the October 21st, 1974 Council meeting but deferred for further consideration at a later date, and advised that since preparation of the report, a number of situations had changed. Alderman Keryluk stated that he would now like to discuss the Prairie Avenue pumping station, and that he felt the run-off on the South side of Burke Mountain can be better handled in other ways. Alderman Keryluk then presented a map showing the proposed drainage patterns for the Harbour Street area, the area North of Harbour Street along the Pitt River, and the Dominion Avenue area all equipped with two 40 c.f.s. pumps, while that proposrd for the Prairie Avenue area will only be equipped with one 40 c.f.s. pump, and he stated his concern that this would not be adequate to handle the drainage from adjacent subdivisions. Alderman Keryluk stated that at a previous meeting of the Association of Concerned Citizens, Mr. Bonham had advised that the pumps in the Dominion Avenue pumphouse could be used in case of mechanical failure or overload at the Prairie Avenue pumphouse; however, he stated he felt that the Prairie Avenue area should have two pumps in view of the size of the area to be drained, and he proposed the following motion: Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Laking:
