reviewing the law of

LANDLORD AND TENAN'T
(Residential Tenancies)

Members of the public, groups, organizations,
and municipal bedies are invited to express
their views in writing to the Commission
xYegarding:

1. What courts or bodies shoule have
jurisdiction over disputes between
landlord and tenant, and what their
procedures should be,

The availability of other facilities
to assist in resolving such aisputes
and distributing information.

How far a landlord should be required
to justify an eviction or the termin-
ation of a tenancy.

How fax the collective bargaining
process is appropriate to landlord and
tenant matters.

5. Security and damage deposits.

6. Any other aspect of the law and practice
governing landlord and tenant matters,

Submissions (six copies if possible) should
be forwarded not later than August 31, 1973

The Commission is prepared to consider re-
quests, by those submitting briefs, to be
heard in person at Vancouver, however, con-
siderations of available time may cempel the
Commission to limit such presentations in
number and duration.
