They'll bring memories of Terrace north with them By SARAH A. ZIMMERMAN LOCAL RCMP Constable Kurt Grabinsky and his wife, Rana Nelson, have left Terrace for the remote northern-town of Telegraph Creek. Grabinsky was trans- ferred to the two-member RCMP detachment there and started his new posting in late September. Terrace was his first posting; he arrived here on Sept. 18, 1997, as a fresh graduate from Regina's RCMP training academy. Over the past four years Grabinsky became best known for his efforts as a community policing and crime prevention officer. Const. And Grabinsky is also looking forward to being one of only two officers at the detachment there. Working in a remote town in Canada’s north is something the 31-year-old constable has always wan- ted to do.
