From the Public Works Committee, March 14th, 1979 recommending that a 2-inch diameter plastic pipe be installed at this time to replace the old watermain on Argue Street at a cost of approximately $6,000.00. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, March 14th, a 2-inch diameter plastic pipe be installed at this time to replace old watermain on Argue Street at a cost of approximately $6,000.00. Carried. From the Public Works Committee, March 14th, 1979 recommending that the proposed watermain construction on Yukon Avenue as approved in the Water Utility Budget be constructed with 2-inch diameter plastic pipe at this time, with future watermain sizing to be done by future development. Tel building at an approximate cost of $200.00, in order to divert pedestrians away from the building where they can be seen by traffic before stepping out into the lane to cross to the library.
