"Floor Area“ means the total area of all floors in all storeys of a building, measured within the inside surface of the exterior walls of the building, including basements, cellars, and the area occupied by interior walls and partitions, but excluding stairwells and elevator shafts. "Multiple-Femily “2sidential Building” means a budiiding containing three or more dwelling ite. “on~site service. means all pipes, condul fixtures and appurtenances located below ground which carry water, cary sewer or storm drain within the boundaries of a parcel but ou:.ide a building, which carry water to or from a building to City service connections. “Open Air Storage Shed" means a storage shed in which at least 25 per cent of the total area of its perimeter walla is open to the outdoors. “Owner” means the owner of land and includes a lemsee with authority to build on land. "Pluzbing Inspector” means a person appointed by Council to administer the provisione of this Bylaw concerning plumbing, acting under the supervision of the Director of Building Permite and Inspections. “Professional Design™ means the design of a building or structure by a Registered Professional and requirea that all plans, specificationa and related documents bear the seal or stamp of the Registered Professional. Registered Professional” means a person who is registered or licensed to practise in the Province of British Columbla az an Architect under the Architects Act or as a. Professional Engineer under the Engineers and Geosclientists Act. This Bylaw applies to ail of the ares within the City of Port Coquitlam, except as otherwise provided. This Bylaw does not appiy to lands reserved for Indians, whether reserve or designated lands. This Bylaw does not apply to the buildings and structures listed in Sectior 2 of the Building Regulations of British Columbia.
