Dear Mr. Zahynacz,
Re: Evening, Sunday/holiday service to Citadel Heights

It is my understauding that Port Coquitlam Council will be addressing BC Transit’s request
to provide service to Citadel Heights with a minibus during evenings, Sundays and holidays
and that the Public Works committee has recommended that Port Coquitlam conduct a
public hearing on this matter.

To assist council in this matter I forward to you a copy of the report BC Transit submitted
to the Vancouver Regional Transit Commission in July 1993. This report summarises the
Public Process BC Transit conducted during 1993. That process was conducted in response
to numerous requests from residents of Citadei Heights for service during the times when
there is no service available in that community.

To be able to provide this service beginning March 28, 1994 BC Transit requires favourabie
approval from Port Coquitlam by Tuesday, January 25 at the latest to operate on Eastern
Drive between Mary Hill Road and Western Drive. Failing this, the proposal will be
deferred to June 1994 at the earliest.
