Januar’ 20th, 1986 /11

A regular meeting of the Municipal Counci! of The Corporation off the
City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam
City Hall on Monday, January 20th, 1986, at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D.
Gates, J.J. Keryluk, W.W. Stewart and M.R. Wright in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk
R.A. Freeman, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng. and Director of
Community Planning ./. Brown.

That the minutes of the Regular Council Meeting held on January
I3th, 1986, be taken as read and adopted.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Supt. E.L. Naaykens of
the R.C.M.P. Coquitlam Detachment, the Coordinator of Community
Resources Mr. Dale Christenson, insp. Bob Fenske, and the Port Coquittam
representative to the District 43 Family Court Committee, Mrs. Myrna.
Larson. Mr. Christensen made a presentation to Council regarding his
work in the community. "-s. Larson explained the work of the Family
Court Committee.

Mayor Traboulay advised Mrs. J. Gallinger, Association of Concerned
Citizens wished to address Council.

Moved by Alderman Farnworth:
Seconded by Alderman Stewart:

That Mrs. J. Gallinger, Association of Concerned Citizens be
permitted to address Council.

Mrs. J. Gallinger, Association of Concerned Citizens addressed
Council explaining that the Association of Concerned Citizens is active
again and is desirous of expanding membership. Mrs. Gallinger advised
the Association supports the Zocalio proposal for residentia! use of a
portion of the ALR lands and that the Association would like the
"Dominion Triangle" made the subject of a special! study. She also
requested that the proposed Community Plan be discussed with the
Agricultural Land Reserve property owners.
