Brown Director of Community Planning SUBJECT: Development Permit No. 11/85 1936 Prairie Avenue RECOMMENDATION: That City Council adopt the following resolution: WHEREAS the Permittee wishes TO commence a development on the Lands herein defined; AND WHEREAS the Permittee has made application for a Development Permit in regard to the Lands; AND WHEREAS the Municipal Act R.S.B.C. 1979, ยข. 290 provides that in a Development Permit certain matters may be varied or supplemented in the manner specified therein; NOW THEREFORE the Counct! of the City hereby issues a Development Permit in respect of ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel of fand situate [In Port Coquitiam, British Columbia, which is more particularly described as; "Lot 15 & 16, D/L 644, BIk 28, P!.2039," COMMENTS: 1. This application is to relocate an existing house on a double fot to one sitde, permitting a second house to be constructed, The variance being requested is to reduce side yard requirement, 2- The parce! in question is two thirty three foot lots. What the applicant's want to do is to relocate the existing house onto one of the lots and construct @ new house on the other, In preparing thelr olans, lots and construct a new house on the other, in preparing their otans, they have found that the existing house Is approximately one foot too wide. Thetr options are to extensively renovate the house or alternatively to request a varlance to permit them to encroach Into one of the two side yards. 77
