From the City Engineer, December 16th, 1982 regarding Christmas Eve parking on Shaughnessy Street. Moved by Alderman Vater: Seconded by Alderman Lakina: That Our Lady of Assumption Church be allowed to cover the "No Parking" signs on Shaughnessy Street from Fraser Avenue to Prairie Avenue for the. period from 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., December 24th, 1982. Carried. From the City Engineer, December 16th, 1982 regarding signals at the intersection of Westwood and Kingsway. Moved by Alderman Wright: Seconded by Alderman Vater: That the District of Council be officially requested to consider the installation of traffic. signals at the intersection of Westwood and Kingsway for the 1983 Budget and that the City include $25,000 in the Provisional Budget for its share of the traffic signals. Defeated. Aldermen Wright and Vater voted in favour of the resolution. From the City Engineer, December 16th, 1982, regarding "No Parking" signs at Cedar Drive School. Moved by Alderman Wright: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the City install "No Parking At Any Time" signs on the west side of Cedar Drive from Prairie Avenue south to the Cedar Drive School building.
