ST eee a cere teen meee, Extract from the Minutes of a Regular Meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam held on May tith, 1987, "Moved by Alderman Seconded by Alderman WHEREAS it is deemed desirable by the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam to include Douglas |S$tand and its adjacent fo-eshore area with the boundaries of.the said City; AND WHEREAS the procedure to effect such object is Set forth in Section 22 of the Municipal Act; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: 1. That a Petition addressed to the Minister of Municipal Affairs be prepared praying for the extension of the area of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam to include the following described area not contained within any municipality within the boundaries of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam: Commencing at a point in the Fraser River distant 2,740 feet on a bearing of North 76 degrees 15 minutes West from a point 1,810 feet from Monument 5976 on a straight line bearing North 31 degrees 41 minutes 40 Seconds West from said Monument 5976 to Monument 3578; thence South-westerly in a straight line to a point on a Straight line between Monuments 3536 and "GUTS 1.P., distant 1,020 feet from said Monument 3536; thence North-westerly in a Straight line to a point on a Straight line between Monuments 3536 and "BLOOD" |.P., distant 1,290 teet trom said Monument 3536; thence North-westerly in a straight line to a point 1,390 feet from Monument 5998 on a Straight line bearing North 53. degrees 21 minutes 41 seconds East from said Monument 9998 to Monument 5974; thence North 57 degrees West a distance of 2,320 feet; thence north-easterly along the centre-l!ine of the main channel of the Fraser River upstream to its junction with the centre-Jine of the channe! of the arm of the Fraser River between the North shore of Douglas Istand and +t+he mainland; thence following said centre~line of the channe! of the arm of The Fraser River between the North shore of Douglas 'sland and the mainland to its Intersection with the Southerly production of the centre-line of the Pitt River; thence South-easterly along the centre-line of The channel of the arm of the Fraser River between the North shore of Douglas !stand and the malniand to the point of commencement.
