we would prepare proper plans and specification and require the
contractor to confirm his quotation. We anticipate that there will be
some Increase In his quotation once these rigid requirements are in

place.

In addition to the cost by the Contractor, the City would incur
costs of about $3,000.00 for making the connection from the storm
sewer to the property tine across Lombardy Street. Thus we anticipate
that the total cost might be $7,000.00 to $8,090.00. This Is still
lower than the $12,000.00 estimated for the ditch solution. This
solution would not be as effective as the ditch solution for solving
the drainage problem but would meet the acceptance of the residents.
