Re: Forming of Council Committee on the Disabled

We have been approached by the International Year of Disabled Persons
Committee to form a Disabled Consumers Committee. Council had discussed
this request in December, 1981. ~ _

At that time, it was theught. that. the possibility of a school district
Wide committee be formed and we corresponded with the International Year
of Disabled Committee to that end.

A letter dated February 1, 1982, which is attached herewith, supports the
formation of a joint committee and we would request your Council's
consideration of implementing this action at your convenience.
