PESTICIDE INFORMATION

2,4-D ~ referred to as ~ "female hormone chemical" is the major herbicide
used in Canada. It is used wherever weeds such as dandelions are eon
trolled in lawns, cereal crops, gardens, etc. "Weed & Feod", "hillex"
are the most common formulations.

Almost 206 years ago Nachel Carson in her book "Silent Spring" warned:
"Fat-soluble pesticides such as 2,4-D store in individual cells to intetr-
fere with vital and necessary functions of energy production. They hit
the liver and the central nervous system as woll as being agents of
chromosome damage."

World Health Organization (WHO) state that cellular Camage is done at

the moment the chemical is taken in and further damage is done to the
cell with every exposure. There is NO SAFE LEVEL OF A CARCIKCCEN because:

Small chronic doses are, as a rule, more dangerous than large doses as
