The above savings also could not have taken place
without the support and cooperation of the men on the crews
and local 498 of the CUPE Union. I would like to take this
opportunity to commend to Council our crews who have without
doubt worked harder this year than ever before and who continue
to take pride in their work. I believe they have a right to be
proud and feel that it would be appropriate if Council would
commend them for their efforts. .
