Arne Jonsson, our populär young leader amongst the Scandinavian younths’, had the audience much elated af ier his performance. Mr. Dudley King, president of the Jubilee Summer Camp, then gave us a short but illu-minating address on the Camp and the many details that must be overcome to make it run smoothly. He appealed to the gathering for a further donation, which they heartily res-ponded to. The Bellman Male Chorus sang four songs for us which the audience warmly applauded, as they are a well trained group of men who do a great deal of entertainment for the many Scandinavian organisations in Vancouver. It was with deep re-gret that we were informed of the departure of their Conduct-or, Mr. Otto Kempf. He is go- ers, as wTell as tne generous audience who gave so heartily for this worthy cause. To all who assisted, may 1 take this opportunity of ex-tending a heartfelt thanks, and may you get your reward when you hear the eager laughter of many happy children when they are able to enjoy a week’s va- ing to Los Angeles to take up — - - - - residence there and we will all cation free at the Jubilee Sum miss his able leadership of the mer Camp next summer. She is very populär amongst the i Scandinavian people for her | kind co-operation, at all times doing much more than her share to insure the success of our activities.
