It was by a Swedish dentist, Dr. Gunnar Dahl. He stated there, af ter his trip of research into dental conditions among children in U.S.A., that the dental health among children in Los Angeles County was better than any-where else in U.S.A. This we can do, providing I get in the enrollments early enough, so I can reserve the camp for two weeks instead of one. If we do have two weeks it would be consecutive weeks, and it might be possible for some children that could and wanted to, to stay over another week. THE PRICE Last year the price was $3,50 per child for the week, including the boat fare. Owing to inereäsed costs the management has this year raised the charge to $4,00. So the price this year will be $4,00 for those who can pay that. But as in the past, I do not want any child to be prevented from coming to camp because of lack of money. So those parents, who are not able to pay all or any of the fee, are hereby asked to enroll their children early, and at the same time make appli-cation for reduetion in the price or exemption. Every year we have had some children at a reduced fee or no fee at all. Those children, whose parents are in poor circumstance, are often the ones who need a week’s camping the most. And in Camp no one knows who pays and who doesn’t, so there is no embarrass-ment for anybody. When I see how the applications come in, then I will approach some of my friends and supporters, and, as in past years, through voluntary contributions try to cover the expenses.. As I mentioned last week, the Camp Week (or weeks) will again be at Orlohma Beach, up Burrard Inlet. And it will be the biggest and best Diamond Summer Camp yet. The boy observed that the geese did not fly straight forward but zigzagged hither and thither over the whole South country, as if they were glad to be in Skåne again and wanted to pay their respeets to every smgle place, They came to one place where there were a number of big, clumsy-looking buildings, with great, tall chimneys, and all around these were a lot of little houses. “This is Jordberga Sugar Refinery,” crowed the roosters. The boy shuddered as he sat there on the gooses back. He should have recognized this lo-cality, for it was not very far from his home. Here he had worked the year before as a watch boy; but, to be sure, nothing was quite the same when seen like that from up above. And think! Just think!
