ONE OF THE LETTERS SUBMITTED IN THE CONTEST. Dear Farbror Olle; Just a few lines with a gre.-.t big Hello to Farbror Olle a..u all the Diamonds. It won’t be long now until the summer ho-lidays will be all gone. But there is always somethmg to look back on. I, for my part, have really enjoyod every day of my holidays. Although I think the week out in the Dia-mond’s summer camp was the best of it all. I’m sure looking forward to next year s summer camp and I hope that then we will be able to stay there two weeks instead of one. Twice this summer I have had the pleasure of going on boat trips. Once to Bowen Island and Britannia Beach. 1 enjoyed that trip very much as we had a cnance to go through the power house and and look at the smelter at Britannia. My little sister who is three years old had a very busy day that day as she found a pail of water on the boat and when we discovered her she had already scrubbed half of the deck, and was she in a mess! Sometimes I wonder. Did 1 ever get as dirty as that when I was little. My second trip wias through the beautiful Howe Sound. It was a marvelous trip. Well, Farbror Olle, I guess I had better stop now or you day, the boys at home need closer wiatching all the time. and every evening joins with morning before I climb in bed. I always thought that school days were long, and night con-suming, but my attempts at family and professional welfare beats school all hollow in time respect — as well as a teacher.
